Beat pudding mix and milk in medium bowl with whisk for 2 minutes. Gently stir in Cool Whip.

Refrigerate at least 3 hours. You want a firm texture. Drizzle Hershey syrup over pie. Slice into pieces using a sharp knife & top each with a dollop of Cool Whip.
