There’s nothing like whipping up your own homemade salad dressing. This versatile recipe comes from my Uncle John and it’s a winner — tangy, bold & ready to use on anything from wings to a garden salad.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder and onion powder until smooth.

Add the cheese and mix just until blended. Season with pepper, to taste.

Chill in an airtight container in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before serving.

regular mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
1 cup
sour cream
1 tsp
garlic powder
1-1/2 tsp
onion powder
7 ounces
bleu cheese, crumbled
Pepper, to taste
Tips for this Recipe
Since Bleu Cheese is the star of the recipe, you want good quality. I look for Treasure Cave or Boar’s Head brands.
If you prefer a tangier dressing, increase the amount of cheese.
